Offering up a series of aisle-worthy new arrivals, high-street favourite, Whistles returns with their Whistles Wedding collection (and all for under £650).
Arriving in a haze of the label’s well-known signature style (think refined, think laid-back, think achingly effortless) the brand’s latest Whistles Wedding collection brings a fresh aesthetic to the table for 2022. Brimming with confidence and some serious tailoring, brides will be delighted to find everything from clean cut tailored suits, to romantic lace gowns, delicate illusion sleeves and even a jumpsuit on offer. And, alongside this, a trio of bridesmaid dresses that are definitely designed to be worn post-wedding too (they’re that pretty).
At the heart of the new line is, as always, Whistles’ devotion to meticulous craftsmanship and beautifully contemplated design. Little touches of sartorial magic have been added to each of the new arrivals, be it in the form of a peek-a-book lace side insert, the whimsical allure of illusion sleeves and their delicate yet modern vibe, or a subtle pearl trim.
The label explains that “the distinction lies in the wearability of each piece this season – these are ageless pieces for every bride to enjoy,” something that here at your day, we love to hear. These pieces are designed to be worn beyond the big day too. We can definitely see brides’ (and their bridesmaids) returning to these wedding day pieces, whether that means pairing them with more relaxed accessories (think biker boots and a dash of leather) or even altering the hemline for more of a wearable everyday length.
